Giving Tuesday 2022

Today, Nov 29th 2022 is Giving Tuesday and on the 2 year anniversary of the twin’s drowning we wanted to do something special for Peyton Manning’s Children Hospital. The incredible staff took such great care of both Lainey and Levi in a very emergent situation. Cookies and sweet treats were delivered to the ER departments and PICU but we also wanted to do something for the parents on behalf of the Light for Levi Foundation.

Thanks to the generous donations you all have made to the Light for Levi Foundation we were able to make 100 parent care bags. The bags are intended to be given to parents who find themselves unexpectedly at the hospital like we were 2 years ago. We had nothing with us and we didn’t leave for days. The bags include a t-shirt donated by Stretch Zone, a tumbler, snacks, a drink, and $20 so that the parents can get a coffee or a meal on us.

When we created the foundation- this was our vision, to think about the needs we have had in our hard times and be able to bless others with these things. We will continue to try and shine the light doing acts of kindness and donating to organizations with missions we believe in.

In the previous 12 months, we were able to give $61,000 to Team Luke – Hope for Minds to help families with children with brain injuries, host a cocktail hour for Team Luke Hope for Minds’s pediatric brain injury conference to help connect families, raise $79,917 at our annual golf event, give $5,500 to Ainsley’s Angels, and $5,500 to Canine and Companions Indianapolis.

We cannot wait to advocate and give back to so many more organizations that help this community. With your help, we can help bring light back into the world. Be sure to look at our stories on Instagram and Facebook to help guide you on how to give for Giving Tuesday.

If you cannot give a monetary donation, there are plenty ways to help the Light for Levi Foundation! We thank you all so much for your love and support.
